From the past 10 days Gilgit unfortunately has been hit by violence there for The Home Ministry of Gilgit Baltistan Has requested to Federal Government to not allow for any Foreign and local tourists to Visit Gilgit Baltistan for One Month.

On April 11, 2012 people of Gilgit-Baltistan gathered in Islamabad at Press Club. Different speakers spoke against deteriorating situation in the region. They express their feelings in the shape of a peaceful rally. They condemned the terrorist activities recurring in March and April.
