Taxila Museum Pakistan.

Taxila Museum is located at Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan. Introduction Taxila Museum is situated in Taxila a tehsil of Rawalpindi. This is a site museum and its collection mainly comprises on Gandhara art.There are 4000 objects displayed, including stone, stucco, terracotta, silver, gold, iron and semiprecious stones. Mainly the display consists of objects from the period 600 B.C to 500 AD.

Derawar Fort

Derawar Fort is a large square fortress in Pakistan near Bahawalpur. The forty bastions of Derawar are visible for many miles in Cholistan Desert. The walls have a circumference of 1500 meters and stand up to thirty meters high.Derawar Fort (Qila Derawar) is in good condition, its walls are intact and still guarded by soldiers in fazes. Its age is unknown. The tombs of the Amirs of Bahawalpur are also at Derawar, decorated with attractive blue glazed tiles contrasting with the ochre landscape. Some of the cannons which were used times ago by the Army of Bahawalpur are also kept in this fort.

Mohenjo-daro

Mohenjo-daro, is an archeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2600 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, and one of the world's. Mohenjo-daro was abandoned in the 19th century BCE, and was not rediscovered until 1922. Significant excavation has since been conducted at the site of the city, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage in 1980.Mohenjo-daro is located in the larkana distric of Sindh, Pakistan.

Hunza baltit (karimabad)

Baltit Fort

Baltit Fort is an ancient fort in the Hunza valley in Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan.  In the past, the survival of the feudal regime of Hunza  was ensured by the impressive baltit fort , which overlooks karimabad . The foundations of the fort date back to 700 years ago, with rebuilds and alterations over the centuries.

Altit Fort

Altit Fort is situated in the village of Altit, about 3 km from Karimabad. It has been built on a sheer rock-cliff that falls 300 meters (1000 feet) into the Hunza River, and is much older than the Baltit Fort. View of Altit fort, with the central town to the right and below the fort.  The location high above the river made this settlement highly defensible and an older settlement than many in the central valley.
